SPOILER WARNING: The follow clips contain spoilers for "Avengers: Age of Ultron."

After months of anticipation -- well, about three years if you're counting from the release date of the original "Avengers" -- Marvel Studios' "Avengers: Age of Ultron" is nearly here, with the film's premiere screening and red carpet event tonight in Hollywood, and its general North American release following a couple of weeks later.

As the promotion continues to escalate, two new clips have been released from the film -- one centered on the dynamic between Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) and the Hulk (Mark Ruffalo); the other a group scene focused on Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.) and Thor (Chris Hemsworth). Both highlight key relationships likely to have a major impact on the film as a whole -- and, potentially, the Marvel Cinematic Universe going forward.

Written and directed by Joss Whedon, "Avengers: Age of Ultron" is set for release on May 1.
