Many studios faced with the fast-approaching debut of a major film would be flooding the Internet with dozens of production stills and almost as many posters. But not Paramount Pictures.
Less that two weeks after it debuted the first official image from J.J. Abrams' mysterious sci-fi movie Super 8, it's parceled out two more shots that don't look all that different from the first, and certainly don't reveal any more details about the plot. It's kind of refreshing, really. Here's what we do know:
In the summer of 1979, a group of friends in a small Ohio town witness a catastrophic train crash while making a super 8 movie and soon suspect that it was not an accident. Shortly after, unusual disappearances and inexplicable events begin to take place in town, and the local Deputy tries to uncover the truth – something more terrifying than any of them could have imagined.
Super 8, which opens on June 10, also stars Elle Fanning, Joel Courtney, Amanda Michalka, Kyle Chandler, Ron Edlard, Noah Emmerich, Gabriel Basso and Zach Mills.
