Twitter has been hard at work deleting accounts recently and unfortunately, Chainsaw Man creator Tatsuki Fujimoto's "younger sister" account was one of the victims in the latest crackdown.According to Shonen Jump News - Unofficial, who paraphrased the tweet of Chainsaw Man's editor Shihei Lin, Twitter had deleted mangaka Tatsuki Fujimoto's original account (nagayama_koharu), where he pretends to be the younger sister of Fujimoto, "due to age restrictions from the platform." Lin tweets that he and Fujimoto are in contact with Twitter to restore the account. Twitter requires users to be at least 13 years of age or older. The biography of Fujimoto's "sister" noted that she was in her third year of elementary school, making her around 12 years old.RELATED: The Gruesome Power of Sacrifice in Chainsaw Man

Since the premiere of the anime adaptation of Chainsaw Man, Fujimoto has taken to using his fake sister's account to live-tweet his reactions and reveal previously unknown facts from the manga, such as the truth about Denji and Power's prank on Aki. Fans have enjoyed watching him tweet his thoughts and expressed their devastation at seeing his account gone.

Where Is Fujimoto Now?

With the date of the next episode looming and Fujimoto and Lin's efforts to recover the account proving fruitless, Fujimoto did the only thing he could do and created a new account, ashitaka_eva, and anounced he would likely be using the account to live-tweet the episode next week unless Twitter returned his sister's account back to him. The new account amassed over 160,000 followers in just four hours.

Fujimoto used the account to reply to Lin, asking fans to believe that this was the real Fujimoto. Some have pointed out the hilarious parallels between Fujimoto and his protagonist Denji, since Fujimoto's insistence that he is the real mangaka and not an impersonator echoes Denji's desperation in the manga to let everyone know he's Chainsaw Man.

Before Denji became Chainsaw Man, he was a very different person. Chainsaw Man opens with Denji working for the yakuza, killing Devils with his partner the chainsaw devil dog Pochita. Denji's life irrevocably changes when Pochita saves his life, giving Denji his heart and the power to turn into Chainsaw Man, after the two are killed and chopped up. The series follows Denji as he encounters new foes as a Public Safety Devil Hunter.

Fans can follow Fujimoto on his new account ashitaka_eva and watch alongside the mangaka when the new episode of Chainsaw Man airs on Crunchyroll.
