The latest teaser trailer for the "Twin Peaks" revival stresses the importance of location and the sacredness of this particular setting, before cutting away quickly to something entirely different.

Like the mysterious show itself, updates about “Twin Peaks” episodes remain shrouded in secrecy. It was initially reported that Peter Sarsgaard was on board for the show, but the actor later denied his involvement. Other new actors in the revival include Amanda Seyfried, Balthazar Gerry and Robert Knepper. David Lynch is attached to direct the miniseries from a script he penned with co-creator Mark Frost.

The series, which began production in September, will be shot as a movie, with Lynch then editing it into individual episodes (it was announced for nine, but Showtime anticipates there will be more). Though the latest teaser says the show is "Coming Soon," the latest reports indicate Showtime’s “Twin Peaks” revival won’t debut until 2017.
