While Super Bowl LIII took place in Atlanta's Mercedes-Benz Stadium, one of the game's ads briefly took viewers into The Twilight Zone, the upcoming CBS All Access series.

In the short teaser, producer and host, Jordan Peele walked across an eerily empty football stadium after interrupting the CBS broadcast and directly addresses viewers in a Rod Sterling-esque tone.

In the ad, Peele presents himself as someone who was "both nowhere and everywhere at the same time." He mused that "answers are new questions, and the unthinkable is the expected," he says as reality seemed to fracture around him.

"When the truth is not the truth, what dimension are you even in," he says, suggesting that the upcoming series could have some political overtones.

Like the original Twilight Zone that was an icon of sci-fi TV, the upcoming streaming series will be an anthology show with a rotating cast of acting talent. The series will include new material and updates on iconic Twilight Zone tales like "Nightmare at 30,000 Feet."

Produced and hosted by Jordan Peele, The Twilight Zone is slated to premiere on April 1 on CBS All Access, 60 years after the premiere of the original series on CBS.
