Netflix's new BoJack Horseman-esque animated series Tuca & Bertie has just dropped its first footage.

Created by Lisa Hanawalt and other members of the BoJack Horseman team, the show also features anthropomorphic animal characters. According to the video’s description of the show, the two main characters are “relatable, fly AF and just happen to be bird women.” The show stars Tiffany Haddish as Tuca and Ali Wong as Bertie.

“It’s about a friendship between 30-year old bird women,” Hanawalt said in the video. “I want women in the real world to relate to it, even though they’re not bird people.” Hanawalt revealed that she chose Haddish for the role of Tuca after seeing her in Girls Trip, which she described as “the funniest movie I’d seen in years.”

According to Wong, the characters reflect the personalities of the actors in some ways. “In a lot of ways, it does mirror us,” she explained, commenting that Haddish is “fun and not repressed.” She added that she feels herself to be “kind of reclusive, I’m a homebody.”

The first season of Tuca & Bertie will be available to stream on Netflix on May 3.
