Guillermo del Toro's Emmy award-winning animated series, Trollhunters, is returning for its third and final season on Netflix later this year with the addition of three new voices. Tatiana Maslany (Orphan Black), Diego Luna (Rogue One: A Star Wars Story) and Emile Hirsch (Into the Wild) are the series' new additions.

Hirsch is taking over the lead role of Jim Lake, Jr., originally voiced by the late Anton Yelchin. Maslany and Luna play Aja and Krel, two students new to the suburb of Arcadia who join in the Trollhunters' fight against Morgana (Lena Headey).

The first two seasons of the series have amassed a veritable who's who of voice actors. Kelsey Grammer won an Emmy for his role as troll Blinky, Mark Hamill is Dictatious, David Bradley is Merlin, Ron Perlman is Bular, Steven Yeun is Steve, Anjelica Huston is Queen Ursurna, Jonathan Hyde is Strickler, Amy Landecker is Barbara, Charlie Saxton is Toby, Lexi Medrana is Claire and Fred Tatasciore is AAARRRGGHH!!!

According to Del Toro and his creative team, they've found a way to uniquely insert Hirsch -- who was friends with Yelchin -- as the new Jim in a way that makes sense to the story. In Season 3, the Trollhunters (a group of teens designated to fight in the ongoing battle between good trolls and bad trolls that takes place beneath their suburb city of Arcadia) are racing to stop Gunmar (Clancy Brown) and Morgana from bringing about Eternal Night. That's an aptly-named ritual that would shroud the world in eternal darkness.
