15 Blinky's Extraordinary Intelligence Is His Best Feature

Blinky from Trollhunters

Jim’s mentor and best troll friend Blinky was beloved for many reasons. Thanks to Kelsey Grammer’s voice acting, the character had an exceptional vibe. He wasn’t a violent troll. Whenever he had the chance, he avoided confrontation.

What made Blinky stronger than most trolls was his extraordinary intelligence, which often helped him out in difficult situations. As a troll, he was much stronger than any human, and thanks to his four arms, he could do things only a few others were able to.

14 Dictatious Combines His Intelligence With A Total Lack Of Morality

Blinky-and-Dictatious

Dictatious is slightly stronger than Blinky, but only because he has no moral compass that prevents him from hurting others with his strength. In fact, he manages to manipulate a number of characters, including his brother and Gunmar himself. Dictatious blends his incredible intelligence with a total lack of ethics, proving that he's a truly dangerous troll to have any sort of dealings with.

13 NotEnrique Is Particularly Troublesome In The Beginning

NotEnrique Trollhunters

NotEnrique might be comic relief, but his Changeling powers are no joke. He travels in and out of Fetches without any trouble, thereby assisting Team Jim in covert missions.

NotEnrique possesses the ability to transform into the real Enrique Nuñez whenever necessary. In the beginning, this baby troll causes more problems for the heroes than the likes of Angor Rot and Bular, showing just how annoyingly persistent NotEnrique can be.

12 Nomura Proved Herself To Be Extremely Strong In Several Battles

Nomura from Trollhunters

Nomura was a changeling, which meant she could assume a human form. She was a minor antagonist in the Trollhunters series serving the Janus Order before having a change of heart and supported the Trollhunter team. She proved to be extremely strong and could endure direct sunlight as well. Humans wouldn’t have been able to defeat her, and most trolls lost to her as well.

11 Kanjigar The Courageous Is One Of The Greatest Warriors Of His Generation

Kanjigar in Trollhunters

As a Trollhunter chosen by the Amulet of Merlin, Kanjigar is exceptionally powerful and is among the greatest warriors of his generation. His strength manages to keep Bular on his toes, and eventually sacrifices his life to keep the Amulet away from the Darklands. Unfortunately, audiences don't get to see much of Kanjigar in battle, although he does reappear as a helpful ghost later in the series.

10 Queen Usurna Is Capable Of Overwhelming The Likes Of Aarghaumont

Queen Usuran in Trollhunters

The Krubera Trolls are known for their uncommon physical strength, making their Queen, Usurna, spectacularly powerful (in terms of brute force alone).

Her charisma and political power belie her true ambition: the freedom of all Gumm-Gumms. Interestingly, Usurna is able to overwhelm opponents as strong as Aarghaumont with relative ease, an act of pure strength that few trolls in the series are capable of.

9 Porgon Fuses His Troll Magic With The Dekyon Charger To Influence The Flow Of Time

Porgon in Trollhunters

Porgon's endurance, durability, and general prowess aren't really impressive, but the fact that he can cast enchantments and spells makes him especially threatening in combat. In fact, Porgon employs the Dekyon Charger in conjunction with his magic to generate ripples in spacetime.

Although he doesn't get the opportunity to extend his experiments, Krel believes that repeatedly bending spacetime with troll magic might result in an accidental apocalypse.

8 Aarghaumont's Pacifism Masks His Devastating Strength

AAARRRGGHH!!! from Trollhunters

Everyone loved Aarghaumont or as most knew him, AAARRRGGHH!!! When he realized how bad eating humans was, Aarghaumont became a pacifist. Still, fans could see what AAARRRGGHH!!! was capable of when Toby needed protection. Whenever trouble arose, he was around to save his human best friend. AAARRRGGHH!!! is one of the kindest heroes who might scare you because he looks like a monster.

7 Draal's Powers Are Almost At The Same Level As The Trollhunter

Draal the Deadly from Trollhunters

Draal had high hopes about becoming the next Trollhunter, and while he was disappointed about Jim’s appointment, he was there to train the "flash-bag." Fans loved Draal because his heart was in the right place.

He would have never harmed the fragile peace between trolls and humans while also protecting everyone who deserved it. Draal was an extremely skilled and powerful warrior. While Draal started as an enemy, he soon became one of Jim's most reliable allies and friends.

6 Bular Is One Of The Most Fearsome Gumm-Gumms In The Franchise

Bular from Trollhunters

Trollhunters’ main antagonist was a terrifyingly powerful troll who kept everyone in fear. Most trolls were shivering when they heard his name and hoped they would never have to face him.

Bular was responsible for Kanjigar’s death, and if the Trollhunter didn’t sacrifice himself, he would have obtained the Amulet of Daylight. If that happened, life on Earth would probably be completely different, and Bular would have ruled the planet. He was one of the most feared Gumm-Gumm trolls anyone had ever seen.

5 Vendel's Magical Prowess Is Nothing To Scoff At

Vendel in Trollhunters

Vendel's physical prowess is sorely limited by his age (and general disinterest in fighting), but the same cannot be said for his magical talents. He understands the complexity and nuances of magic far more than all of his troll compatriots. Vendel's magical mastery extends from potioneering and dark enchantments to restoration and gemstone alchemy. His diplomacy and tact help further strengthen his status as a Heartstone Trollmarket Elder.

4 Angor Rot Obtains Incomprehensible Magical Powers Through Morgana

Angor Rot from Trollhunters

Angor Rot wasn’t always as bad as he appeared to be in Trollhunters. He was only trying to protect his village during Gunmar's War for the Surface Lands. Seeking further support in his cause, he made a pact with the witch, Morgana, to gain magical powers in exchange for his flesh.

The witch tricked him and stole Angor’s soul so she could control him. From that day on, Angor Rot served Morgana and killed many Trollhunters over the centuries.

3 Gunmar Is Easily One Of The Strongest Trolls To Ever Exist

Gunmar from Trollhunters

Gunmar was the main antagonist in the franchise. Fans saw him in all three series as the biggest opposition to the Trollhunter team. Lord Gunmar was much older than most trolls, at least a couple of thousand years old. He was born from the first heartstone, and that granted him exceptional powers.

Besides the huge amount of knowledge he possessed, he was also much stronger than most trolls on the planet. Everyone feared him, and for a good reason: Gunmar didn’t spare anyone. He had one of the highest body counts in any series. The terrible troll didn’t think of anyone as more than tools or a piece of flesh.

2 Deya The Deliverer Proved Worthy Of Being The First Trollhunter

Deya the Deliverer from Trollhunters

There were many heroic Trollhunters throughout the centuries, but Deya the Deliverer was among the most remembered. She was the first Trollhunter ever. Thanks to her heroic deeds, the Gumm-Gumms were sealed in the Darklands after the Battle of Killahead. Deya was outstanding in battles that could stand against Gunmar as well. While she proved to be worthy of the Trollhunter title, she was often a bit too stubborn.
