Marvel Comics has given CBR an exclusive preview of X-Men: The Trial of Magneto #1, by Leah Williams, Lucas Werneck and Edgar Delgado. In the preview, Jean-Paul Beaubier/Northstar and a variety of other mutant investigate the body of Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch. They're able to determine that some sort of struggle took place between Scarlet Witch and her attacker. However, as Northstar notes, Wanda didn't use her power reality-altering magic to protect herself, which adds more layers to the mystery of who is behind her death.

The book features covers from Valerio Schiti, John Romita Jr., Elizabeth Torque, David Finch, Mark Brooks, Greg Capullo, Peacho Momoko, Todd Nauck and Artgerm.
