The Plot of Trapped in a Dating Sim: The World Of Otome Games Is Tough For Mobs

How Trapped in a Dating Sim Experiments With Its Two Isekai Leads

Trapped in a Dating Sim tells the tale of the hapless protagonist Leon Bartfort, who died in real life after tripping and falling down a flight of stairs, only to find himself reborn in the otome game he had been playing for days on end. This is no ordinary video game -- it somehow blends the traditional otome dating formula with Final Fantasy-inspired combat and even giant robots, making for a unique gaming experience for Leon. But now it's his real life, and the odds are stacked against him.

This is a matriarchal world where women hold the power, and young men can only hope to marry up and live off the influence and power of their wives and their families. And it's even tougher for a third-born son like Leon Bartfort, the countryside son of a minor noble family. Leon must enroll at the local academy and navigate the vicious social jungle of rumors, bullying, gossip and feuds to survive, and there might even be a second isekai character on the loose who is plotting his downfall. Leon will need all his allies, wits and weapons to make it as a background "mob" character in this otome game world of giant robots and jealous girlfriends.
