Fathom Events, Hasbro Studios and Shout Factory! have come together to bring fans the original Transformers G1 experience: on Thursday, September 27, Transformers: The Movie will be coming to theaters nationwide for a single night. The classic film has been remastered and transferred into high definition to make it the most exciting moviegoing experience of a lifetime.

The event is not only a celebration and a chance for longtime fans of the franchise to experience the 1986 film on tbe big screen, it’s also meant to introduce new fans to the greatest era of the Transformers a few months before the 1987-set live-action film Bumblebee hits the big screen in December.

The film is set to hit approximately 500 movie theaters across the country, the full list of which will be available on Fathom Events’ website.
