To celebrate the one-year anniversary of the Transformers Trading Card Game, Wizards of the Coast has released details for a brand new product: Energon Edition.
This Energon Edition bundle is a limited-time offering, featuring the game’s most valued character cards and other unique items, all housed in a foil Energon Cube box. It includes six of the game’s most prized character cards, all printed on heavy, semi-transparent plastic and boasting exclusive art created by fan-favorite artists:
Optimus Prime, Battlefield Legend and Megatron, Living Weapon are drawn by Marcelo Matere; Cliffjumper, Renegade Warrior and Slipstream, Strategic Streamer cards are by Dan Khana, and Bumblebee, Legendary Warrior and Nemesis Prime, Dark Clone are courtesy of Ken Christiansen.
The pack also comes with three copies of a Battle Card tied to each of the six characters, for a total of eighteen, printed on foil for the first time, including Agility of Bumblebee, Bombing Run, Cargo Trailer, Fusion Cannon of Megatron, Ion Blaster of Optimus Prime and Start Your Engines.
This deluxe pack comes with eighteen Energon Dice and thirty Wave 1 Booster Packs, contained in two storage boxes and is available directly from Wizards of the Coast beginning on Cybertron Monday, Dec. 2 at 12 p.m. PST.
