Concept artist and character designer Ryan Meinerding often takes time to share some of his artwork on social media. As the head of Marvel Studios' Visual Development department, Meinerding's social media accounts are full of images from films like Spider-Man: HomecomingGuardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 and much more.

One of his latest posts shows early art meant for 2009's Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, the second film in the Transformers live-action franchise. The image features a "Lamborghini bot."

In his Instagram post, Meinerding said the Lamborghini Transformer didn't make it into the actual movie, and was possibly replaced with an Audi instead. While the artist listed the character as an Autobot, it's dark features and glowing red eyes hue closer to the Autobots' enemies, the Decepticons. The eyes even change shape as you browse from the first photo to the second. Also, it's right arm looks to be outfitted with a curved, bladed gauntlet, most likely to strike at its opponents. Unfortunately, there isn't an artist mock-up of it transforming into an actual Lamborghini.

Transformers: The Last Knight, the fifth film in the saga, stars franchise veterans Mark Wahlberg, Stanley Tucci, Josh Duhamel, Tyrese Gibson and John Turturro, joined by newcomers Isabela Moner, Liam Garrigan, Jerrod Carmichael, Mitch Pileggi, Laura Haddock, Santago Cabrera and Anthony Hopkins.
