Star Wars legend Mark Hamill and Hellboy alum Ron Perlman have joined the cast of Transformers: Prime Wars Trilogy, an animated series by Hasbro and Machinima. They will join fellow newcomers Jamie King (Solus Prime), Gregg Berger (Grimlock/Volcanicus), Mikey Way (Snarl) and Nuufolau Joel Seanoa, aka Samoa Joe (Predaking).

Hamill will voice Megatronus the Fallen, one of the Thirteen Original Primes who "was exiled from Cybertron after murdering one of the other Thirteen, Solus Prime, effectively becoming the first Decepticon." Hamill's Megatronus will appear in the Transformers: Titans Return finale, where he will battle an as-yet-unannounced fan-favorite hero.
