The movie is directed by Michael Bay with Steven Spielberg acting as executive producer. Extras 16 years of age & older are needed to work outside for the 2-day scene currently scheduled for the first week of Oct. 2006. If you are interested in possibly working as a paid extra in the film, please send information immediately."

Meanwhile, if you're in Kentucky, Hasbro has a press release that's right up your alley. "Thousands of TRANSFORMERS fans arriving this weekend in Lexington, Kentucky for the official convention of the TRANSFORMERS Collectors Club can meet the 'voice' of OPTIMUS PRIME. trade action figures at more than 200 tables of TRANSFORMERS collectibles, and many will be welcomed by a 40-member college marching band playing the famed TRANSFORMERS theme song."

The gun-toting creation will go back in front of the lenses this November, north of the border, according to The Vancouver Sun. "Already making two television series and an animated feature film in British Columbia, the fast-growing entertainment company Starz Media will begin shooting a new series in B.C. in November. 'Painkiller Jane,' based on the Event Comics comic book created by Jimmy Palmiotti and Joe Quesada, will set up shop in Vancouver in the first week of November. The series, consisting of 22 one-hour episodes, will be aired in February on the SciFi Network in the U.S."


Comingsoon.net reports that the release date for the action flick has been moved up a week to March 23rd, 2007.
