WARNING: The following contains spoilers for Transformers: War for Cybertron -- Earthrise, now streaming on Netflix.

Netflix's Transformers: War for Cybertron trilogy changes the cosmic landscape even more for the Autobots and Decepticons as the second chapter, Earthrise, rolls out. Initially, Siege keeps the battle on their homeworld, but now Optimus Prime and Megatron's forces clash all over the galaxy.

It results in Megatron harnessing sparks for his Nemesis ark. Meanwhile, Optimus places his crew in danger at a sketchy space bridge out of desperation, culminating with the search for the Allspark reaching Earth. However, as they make this trek, there are ghastly plot holes that arise.

Where Are Omega Supreme and the Guardians?

In Siege, Omega Supreme arrives at the Cybertron space bridge to help the Autobots after Optimus appealed to him. However, Optimus throws the Allspark to the next end of the cosmos, which is topped off by a massive explosion. However, after Omega disappears, no one knows what happened to him.

The Autobots lose contact, and the Decepticons give the impression he's dead, but it's unclear. Audiences wonder why he or the other Guardians wouldn't intervene and clean Cybertron up, working alongside the remaining Autobot resistance, led by Elita, Jetfire and Red Alert. Furthermore, the Decepticons don't seem powerful enough to have gone after these Guardians, so it's a mystery why they all went dormant.

Were Megatron and Elita in a Relationship?

Elita and Optimus were in love, but this dissipates when she finds his ways too archaic. She stays behind, and he goes with the Teletraan I ark, but there seems to be something more to their history, as Megatron tries to recruit her. When he captures her, he calls her by her real name, Ariel, and he says he wants her ruling by his side, but Ariel's reaction indicates she may have loved Megatron too.

This teased the full story, but there is more that needs to be known, like why she hates him, especially since it seems to be more than just political. Furthermore, some wonder if Elita choosing Optimus turned Megatron evil, making him more vindictive and splintering the bond he had with Optimus. Megatron does admit he wants the same thing she wants -- saving Cybertron. While he tries to kill her after she rebuffs him, the two seem to have many secrets.

Why Did Sky Lynx Betray Alpha Trion?

In a flashback, Trion banishes Sky Lynx to the Dead Universe after the former attacks Trion to get the Matrix of Leadership; however, it's not revealed why Sky Lynx wants that power and what turns him against the leader. It's a weird moment because Lynx is considered a hero and war veteran, but there's no context for the civil war.

Optimus still views Sky Lynx as a legend and can't believe his fall from grace. Trion sends Lynx to that dark realm to rehabilitate, so he still has hope his friend will return with a sound mind, which does happen. However, Lynx doesn't detail the corruption that took him over, which is important, as there's a vision that a similar dark fate could befall Optimus.

Where Are The Other Quintessons?

Deseeus is introduced after he hires mercs to kidnap the Autobots. He wants these bots, as well as the Decepticons, since the Quintessons -- all their creators -- think they should have remained slaves. Eons ago, Deseeus became a rogue magistrate and freed the bots, but they apparently turned on sympathizers like him, so viewers would love to know where the other Quintessons are.

Viewers assume Trion's charges took them out, but as Deseeus shows, they could have found ways to survive. If they're out there, that could provide more enemies for both robot factions. This might even see them going after Cybertron, which is vulnerable now that Optimus and Megatron are gone. Elita brought Shockwave's citadel down, so the Decepticons he drained might help fight back if the Quintessons return.

Is Deseeus Still Alive?

Deseeus is ambushed by the mercs, led by Doubledealer, which allows the Autobots to find the Allspark. However, in the finale, Deseeus takes these mercs over, plugging into Doubledealer and using him as a vessel, but the firefight outside Earth's orbit gets Deseeus' ark blown to bits, with the Autobots and Decepticons being flung to Earth.

This leaves fans wondering if Deseeus is alive. If so, he could try to take Earth over, weaponize other robots and call more Quintessons to his aid. Deseeus may even get the Autobots and Decepticons to form a temporary alliance. Given there will be Predacons and Maximals on Earth, his thirst for vengeance will be greater than ever.

How Did Galvatron Cross Over?

In the Dead Universe, when Megatron's ark goes in, he meets Galvatron, his future self. However, it's unclear why Galvatron's consciousness is there. When he's plucked back, viewers see him meet Unicron in what appears to be the animated movie timeline from the '80s, with the boss telling him he'll, "suffer for this moment of treachery."

While it's unclear if this is due to him tinkering with the Matrix of Leadership by Galvatron, Unicron clearly isn't pleased with his minion. It seems Galvatron snuck into this realm to try to gain the upper hand over his creator and change history, so his inevitable defeat could be turned into a win by putting the past Megatron on a better path, but how Galvatron teleported is a mystery.

What's In The Golden Disk?

Galvatron leaves Megatron a golden disk to read in their meeting, but the information is unknown to audiences. It disappears quickly, leaving fans wondering if it may be used for space teleportation, like in the Beast Wars series. This would allow Megatron to bring more soldiers over or travel the cosmos for weapons, which could lead to him becoming Galvatron.

Others believe it could be the secret to time-travel. If Megatron bends space and time, he'll have the upper hand should he go back to the past and kill soldiers like Optimus. What's certain is Galvatron wouldn't have given his younger self the disk unless it would put him at an advantage. Even if it just contains Galvatron's history, it'll make Megatron more powerful as he'll know everyone's next moves.
