Two weeks in an 2021 is really starting to pick up the pace with a whole line of new trailers and promos teasing big premieres and returns throughout the year. Bliss

Paradise isn't all it seems in the upcoming Amazon Prime Video original movie Bliss. Starring Owen Wilson and Salma Hayek, the film has an unassuming, white-collar father dream of a beautiful woman that he eventually encounters at a dive bar. Telling him that his life is an advanced simulation, the couple embarks on a whirlwind romance before the walls of reality begin to crash as the man wonders what exactly he can trust.

Written and directed by Mike Cahill, Bliss stars Owen Wilson, Salma Hayek, Madeline Zima and Bill Nye. The film will be released Feb. 5 on Amazon Prime Video.

Clarice

The Silence of the Lambs continuation television series Clarice has the titular FBI profiler return to her native Appalachia to investigate the grisly murder of a young woman. Fresh off of tracking down the notorious Buffalo Bill, Clarice is instructed by her superiors to tackle her new case by the book in comparison to her last mystery as she faces a throng of press while searching for a new serial killer.

Clarice stars Rebecca Breeds as Clarice Starling, Michael Cudlitz as Paul Krendler, Lucca de Oliveira as Tomas Esquivel, Kal Penn as Shaan Tripathi, Nick Sandow as Agent Clarke, Devyn Tyler as Ardelia Mapp and Marnee Carpenter as Catherine Martin. The series premieres Feb. 11 at 10 p.m. ET/9 p.m. CT on CBS and CBS All Access.

Dark Web: Cicada 3301

Fan-favorite filmmaker Alan Ritchson reunites with his Titans co-star Conor Leslie for the upcoming crypto-thriller Dark Web: Cicada 3301. A hacker stumbles across a secret society as he assembles an impromptu team to join him in scouring the globe for treasure while evading the NSA. Marking Ritchson's feature directorial debut, the film will be released on home video this March.

Directed by Alan Ritchson, Dark Web: Cicada 3301 stars Jack Kesy, Conor Leslie and Alan Ritchson, along with Ron Funches and Andreas Apergis. The film will be available on Digital and On Demand March 12, and available on Blu-ray and DVD March 16 from Lionsgate.

The Equalizer

The popular Equalizer franchise is coming to television next month with Queen Latifah as star and producer. A trailer has Latifah's character Robyn McCall reveal that she quit her job at the CIA as she takes on all comers as a formidable force of nature. And while Robyn takes on crime as she raises her daughter as a single mother, the CIA begins to investigate her vigilante activities as she works without any official jurisdiction or authority.

Written by Andrew Marlowe & Terri Miller, The Equalizer stars Queen Latifah. It is produced by Latifah, John Davis, John Fox, Debra Martin Chase, Richard Linheim, and Shakim Compere. The Equalizer premieres on Feb. 7.

For All Mankind

After its inaugural season explored the height of the Space Race with the alternate history of the Soviet Union landing a man on the moon first, Apple TV+'s original series For All Mankind is leaping ahead to 1983 for its second season. A trailer for the new season shows the Cold War heating up, as NASA learns that the Soviets may be installing military weaponry on the lunar surface, changing the course of history once again.

Created by Ronald D. Moore, Matt Wolpert and Ben Nedivi, For All Mankind stars Joel Kinnaman, Michael Dorman, Sarah Jones, Shantel VanSanten, Wrenn Schmidt, Jodi Balfour, Krys Marshall, Sonya Walger, Cynthy Wu, Coral Peña and Casey W. Johnson. Season 2 premieres on Apple TV+ on Feb. 19, 2021.

Indiana Jones

In a surprise announcement since its acquisition by Microsoft, acclaimed video game developer Bethesda Softworks revealed that it was working on a brand-new Indiana Jones title with an atmospheric teaser trailer. As the familiar orchestral score begins to swell, a desk with musty, old books and maps is shown before the famed archaeologist grabs his trusty fedora and bullwhip for a new adventure.

The currently untitled Indiana Jones video game is being developed by Bethesda Softworks, MachineGames and Lucasfilm Games. No release date has been announced.

More Than Miyagi

While Cobra Kai thrills millions of viewers around the world, the absence of original Karate Kid star Pat Morita is felt throughout the Netflix revival series. Morita's life, including his tumultuous childhood and painful battle with addiction as he faced adversity throughout his career, are explored in the new documentary film More Than Miyagi. Featuring interviews with Morita's numerous co-stars, including Karate Kid actors Ralph Macchio, William Zabka and Martin Kove, the documentary is a celebration of the Academy Award-nominated actor's life and legacy.

Directed by Kevin Derek, More Than Miyagi premieres on streaming platforms on Feb. 5.

New Pokémon Snap

Over 20 years since the original Pokémon Snap on the Nintendo 64, the popular title is receiving a sequel on the Nintendo Switch with New Pokémon Snap. A trailer for the video game has players explore the Lental Region to take photographs of its extensive Pokémon population in their natural habitat to update Professor Oak's catalog on the fan-favorite creatures.

Developed by Bandai Namco and published by Nintendo, New Pokémon Snap will be released on April 30 for the Nintendo Switch.

A Nightmare Wakes

The life and times of visionary horror author Mary Shelley are explored in the upcoming Shudder original biopic A Nightmare Wakes. Tracing Shelley's 1816 trip to Switzerland with her husband Percy Bysshe Shelley and influential poet Lord Byron, the film has the three enter a competition to craft the most chilling horror story. While her two male counterparts are unable to complete their stories, Shelley is able to write the landmark tale Frankenstein as recounted in the biopic.

Written and directed by Nora Unkel, A Nightmare Wakes stars Alix Wilton Regan, Giullian Yao Gioiello, Philippe Bowgen, Lee Garrett, Claire Glassford and Shannon Spangle. The film premieres Feb. 4 on Shudder.

Snowpiercer

The inaugural season of Snowpiercer ended with Mr. Wilford, the creator of the eponymous high-speed trains traversing the frozen wasteland, linking with the main cast's train. A trailer for the second season reveals more about the new train and introduces Sean Bean's Wilford in full as the passengers of the two trains clash over the fate of the human race after the polar apocalypse.

Snowpiercer stars Jennifer Connelly, Daveed Diggs, Sean Bean, Rowan Blanchard,  Alison Wright, Mickey Sumner, Iddo Goldberg, Katie McGuinness, Lena Hall, Annalise Basso, Sam Otto, Roberto Urbina, Sheila Vand, and Steven Ogg. Season 1 is currently available to stream on HBO Max, while Season 2 premieres on Jan. 25.

Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury

Nintendo continues its 35th anniversary celebration of the Super Mario franchise with an enhanced remaster of Super Mario 3D World for the Nintendo Switch. With the added subtitle Bowser's Fury, a trailer for the game shows Cat Mario navigating a group of islands in a surprise team-up with Bowser Jr. before a kaiju-sized Bowser emerges. Undeterred, Mario obtains a power-up that allows him to transform into Giga Cat Mario and confront the fiery villain directly.

Developed and published by Nintendo, Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury will be released on Feb. 12 for the Nintendo Switch.

The Walking Dead

While the original, planned ending for The Walking Dead Season 10 aired this past October, the popular AMC series will include six bonus episodes to extend the season before proceeding into its eleventh and final season. A teaser trailer for the bonus episodes puts a spotlight on the main characters as they each find themselves at a crossroads in the aftermath of the Whisperer War, including tense reunions and lingering mysteries.

The Walking Dead stars Norman Reedus, Melissa McBride, Josh McDermitt, Christian Serratos, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Seth Gilliam, Ross Marquand, Khary Payton and Cooper Andrews. Season 10 returns Sunday, Feb. 28 at 9 p.m. ET/8 p.m. CT on AMC.

WandaVision

Marvel Studios is pulling out all the stops for its first Disney+ series WandaVision, reuniting Marvel Cinematic Universe heroes Scarlet Witch and Vision for a subversively suburban adventure. A new teaser trailer shows the happy couple traveling through sitcom history before their domestic bliss descends into a surreal nightmare while Emma Caulfield's mystery role is teased in the eagerly anticipated series.

Written by Jac Schaeffer and directed by Matt Shakman, WandaVision stars Elizabeth Olsen as Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch, Paul Bettany as Vision, Randall Park as Agent Jimmy Woo, Kat Dennings as Darcy Lewis, Teyonah Parris as Monica Rambeau and Kathryn Hahn as Agnes. The series airs new episodes Friday on Disney+.
