"Star Wars: The Force Awakens" was one of the most highly-anticipated films ever, and 2016 is preparing to deliver some more serious blockbuster action with "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice," "Ghostbusters" and "Deadpool." It comes as no surprise that everyone from Hot Toys to Funko unveiled new offerings for those properties at the end of last year and the beginning of this one. As if that wasn't enough to whet your appetite, video game properties like "Uncharted 4," Assassin's Creed, Call of Duty and more scored plenty of collectible love. Read on to see them all -- and more!

STAR WARS | By now you've all probably seen "Star War: The Force Awakens" and figured out if you like it or not. Assuming you did enjoy the J.J. Abrams film, you might want to get your hands on the Hot Toys 1/6th scale Finn and Riot Control Stormtrooper (AKA TR-8R, AKA FN-2199) figures. The former can be purchased on his own or together with the baton-wielding baddy to recreate the iconic scene from the film.

BATMAN V SUPERMAN | Looking ahead, "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" is one of the more anticipated films of the year. Funko gave fans a look at what's to come with a series of new Pops, Wacky Wobblers, Mystery Minis, Dorbz, Vinyl Idolz and even Pencil Toppers. Note the prominence of characters like Wonder Woman and Aquaman as well as the inclusion of Knightmare Batman and Superman Soldier. Interesting, very interesting... All of these are available now for purchase!

GHOSTBUSTERS | "Ghostbusters" director Paul Feig recently took to Twitter to show off the toy prototypes of his cast. While he only revealed the Mattel figures representing Kristen Wiig, Melissa McCarthy, Leslie Jones and Kate McKinnon, he also revealed that Funko, Diamond Select Toys, LEGO and others will be getting in on the collectibles action for the July 16-releasing film.

MARVEL COMICS | On the other side of the comic book aisle, Sideshow Collectibles revealed a pair of statues based on Marvel properties. First you can see the Dark Phoenix Premium Format figure, which stands 22-inches tall including its flaming base. Next up is a Hulk Maquette based on the character's appearance in "Avengers: Age of Ultron." Both can be purchased as Sideshow exclusives which will get you a Jean Grey head and Hulk nameplate respectively. Both will ship at the end of the year.

THE WALKING DEAD | McFarlane Toys gave fans a preview of the ninth series of "Walking Dead" figures based on the AMC series a while back, but now you can gawk at high-res images of the individual characters including Constable Michonne, T-Dog, Water Walker, Death Scene Dale, Grave Digger Daryl and Beth Greene. The company also unveiled a variety of photos of the 17-inch-tall Negan resin statue which will hit and ship in March.

BATMAN | Artist Ashley Wood and his toy company 3A plan on putting their stamp on Batman with a series of sixth scale figure kicking off with one called Steel Age. It's available for pre-order right now and certainly gives a-whole-different view on the Dark Knight.

DEADPOOL | It's a regular 'Pool party these days considering how many wild Deadpool collectibles are popping up in anticipation of the character's reappearance on the big screen starting on February 12. Hot Toys based this 1/6th scale figure on the suit filled out by Ryan Reynolds. It comes with plenty of spare hands, katanas, guns and plenty of swap-out eyes to capture Wade Wilson's intense range of emotions.

STAR TREK | Mezco will continue the line of highly detailed 6-inch action figures known as One:12 with "Star Trek" star Mr. Spock! The April-shipping figure comes with Vulcan mind-meld, nerve pinch, "Live long and prosper" and other hands as well as a phaser, communicator and Tricorder for all those important missions.

EVIL DEAD II | Ash Williams is experiencing a renaissance these days thanks to the widespread love for "Ash vs. Evil Dead" on Starz. But many fans prefer to remember how Bruce Campbell's character looked in 1987's "Evil Dead II." As you might expect, this broken and bloody figure comes with his chainsaw hand and sawed-off double barrel shotgun. The Sideshow Collectibles figure will be yours to kick Deadite ass next fall.

FIVE NIGHTS AT FREDDY'S | "Five Nights at Freddy's" debuted a few years ago and had been fascinating gamers with its combination of survival horror and strangely familiar yet also terrifying imagery from childhood. Funko wants you to be able to bring the fear home by offering a number of different collectibles ranging from 5-inch action figures and plushies to Mystery Minis, Pen Toppers, 2-inch vinyl figure sets and even key chains.

TOMB RAIDER | Lara Croft continues to capture our imaginations as she trots across the globe, tracking down artifacts and getting into trouble. Made by Square Enix and distributed Stateside by Sideshow Collectibles, this figure is based on the second game in the current series called "Rise of the Tomb Raider" which landed in late 2015. The 10-inch-tall, highly articulated figure comes with a variety of survival tools and weapons and ships this spring.

ASSASSIN'S CREED | The three figures in McFarlane Toys' fifth series of Assassin's Creed toys each show their allegiances in the way they dress. Union Jacob Frye is practically draped in Union Jack while Il Tricolore Ezio Auditore is literally named after the Italian flag. Revolutionary Connor takes it to another level by adding face paint to his already American flag-based outfit. Each figure comes with a variety of accessories and hits stores later this year.

FUNKO POPS | Finally, the last of the video game entries this week comes from Funko, a company that revealed a Pop Vinyl series for two different franchises: Call of Duty and Uncharted. The former wave features Msgt. Frank Woods, Lt. Simon "Ghost" Riley, Brutus and Captain John Price while the latter focuses solely on Nathan Drake as he appears in the series' fourth installment. The former are available now while the latter hits in March.
