Collectors tend to favor one kind of scale or type when figuring out what to spend their money on. Some people are super into the expensive 1:6 scale pieces from the likes of Hot Toys, Sideshow and Big Chief Studios while others prefer the Mezco, Hasbro and Mattel scale that measures about six or seven inches and come in all kinds of quality levels. Other favorites include minifigures, vinyl and a variety of others. All of those share a bit of the spotlight this week thanks to a nice variety of reveals!

ONE:12 | While many companies continue to reveal new, high quality figure in the 1:6 scale, Mezco keeps doing the same with the One:12 Collective. The six-inh-inch line continues to grow. The company offered up the Captain America figure for pre-order, but also previewed figures like Flash, Deadpool, Captain America and Red Skull. Mezco even has plans for a version of Captain Kirk's captain's chair in the same scale!

THE DARK KNIGHT | There might be another Joker about to hit the big screen in a few months, but Heath Ledger's performance in "The Dark Knight" will always be one of the strongest and most iconic. The Joker Premium Format Figure statue from Sideshow Collectibles stands with playing card raised, but still carries the menace we all remember from that disappearing pencil bit. The piece stands 19 inches tall on a base of fiery, broken street and will ship this spring. The Sideshow exclusive version also comes with the detonator seen in the 2008 Christopher Nolan film.

CAPTAIN AMERICA | Factory Entertainment continues to impress with the variety of the Premium Motion Statue line, pieces that actually move in a way that makes sense with the design. The latest reveal honors Captain America as seen in "Avengers: Age of Ultron" as he rides his motorcycle. it stands 15 inches tall and comes with shield heroically raised for some killer slinging action! Cap ships this summer.

HARLEY QUINN | Even before being announced as a big movie star in "Suicide Squad" DC's Harley Quinn was already one of the company's most popular characters. She keeps showing up in every line dedicated to DC's characters including Kotobukiya's DC Bishoujo line. This particular entry stands 9 inches tall and takes its cues from the New 52 version! Harley ships in September.

HASBRO MARVEL COSPLAY | At this year's New York Toy Fair, Hasbro surprised many attendees by revealing that they planned to start making products for cosplayers. Starting with a face-revealing Iron Man helmet and full-size Captain America shield, the line will grow thanks in part to a poll. Fans are asked to pick their top four choices (in that order) out of a group that includes Mjolnir, Black Widow's gauntlets, Spider-Man's web shooters, Star-Lord's mask, Cyclops' visor and plenty of others. Head on over and make your voice heard!

DOCTOR WHO | The "Doctor Who" casting people have this amazing talent of picking companions for the Doctor who we all want to travel through time and space with. Jenna Coleman's Clara Oswald continues the trend with not one but two Doctors. To celebrate her tenure, Big Chief Studios unveiled a 1:6 scale figure of the character that comes in Limited and Signature editions that will be produced as 1000 and 300 pieces respectively. The latter features a plaque hand-signed by Coleman, but both come with the displayed outfit, multiple hands, red purse, and books like "101 Places to See" and "The History of the Time War."

FUNKO | The world of "Warcraft" will continue expanding thanks to the upcoming film hitting on June 10. Along with the big-budget film will come a variety of collectibles including the likes of King Llane, Lothar, Durotan, Orgrim and Garona as Pops, Dorbz and Mystery Minis this April from Funko.

The company will also produce a Pocket Pop Keychain based on "Borderlands" show-stealer Claptrap the same month as well as Max, Chloe, Gidget, Snowball and Duke from Disney's "The Secret Life of Pets" come June.

HATEFUL EIGHT | Finally, NECA celebrates one of the most beloved and accomplished living directors by giving him a high quality, retro action figure. In other words, you can get your hands on a Quentin Tarantino "Hateful Eight" figure, but only if you're one of the lucky ones to get this "strictly limited to 3,000 pieces worldwide," according to the site. This one's available now, if you're lucky.
