Exclusives can be the delight of collectors -- and the bane of their existence. Sometimes, they offer you that one look a character sports in a game, movie or comic that's not popular enough for wide-scale production but works as a store or convention exclusive. But, if you're a completist who can't travel from con to con, they can be points of contention. However you feel about exclusives, there were a whole bunch of them revealed this week, including a good deal of those debuting New York Comic Con, as well as toys you'll only be able to get through certain retail outlets. Of course, there was some normal news this week as well, but the majority of unveilings revolved around toys and statues with limited releases.

DC COLLECTIBLES NYCC EXCLUSIVES | DC Collectibles will have a pair of exclusives on sale at New York Comic Con this year. The first is based on "Super Best Friends Forever," one of the mini-shows that runs during Cartoon Network's DC Nation. Supergirl, Wonder Girl and Batgirl were offered at SDCC, but East Coasters will be able to score the villainous Poison Ivy. Meanwhile, there's also a Green Lantern-based 2-pack in the DC Comics Super Heroes 3 3/4-inch line featuring Hal Jordan and Blue Lantern Saint Walker. Both will be available at the Graphitti Designs booth.

STAN LEE NYCC EXCLUSIVE | Frankly, the world doesn't have enough Stan Lee toys in it. Funko's trying to remedy that with the recently announced NYCC Stan Lee Pop! Vinyl Figure. This version of "The Man" comes with a fancy con T-shirt, will be limited to 1000 pieces and for sale at the ConventionExclusive.com booth during the show. (via The Fwoosh)

DIAMOND SELECT TOYS NYCC EXCLUSIVE | For their part, Diamond Select Toys is bringing along an exclusive statue of one of the baddest ladies in indie comics: Kabuki. They'll have a limited-to-100-piece version of the David Mack inspired Femme Fatales PVC statue that shows off the character's facial scars. If you're attending the convention, be sure to follow the link to find out what other fun stuff DST has planned for the show!

THE VENTURE BROS. | Toy customizing can be a tricky hobby to pick up. First you need figures you don't mind tearing apart and then you need the right supplies. Bif Bang Pow and Entertainment Earth are trying to make the process a bit easier by offering up an exclusive unpainted version of The Monarch in the 3 3/4-inch scale. Limited to just 500 pieces, this toy will only be available on EE, so pre-order now and get your paintbrushes ready!

MARVEL SELECT | Two of the Earth's Mightiest Heroes find themselves returning to Diamond Select Toys' line of Marvel Select action figures. This Fall will see the release of classic figures of Thor and Hawkeye in stores the world over. Both toys take cues from old school Avengers comics and feature character appropriate bases. Hawkeye even comes with an Ant-Man arrow so you can recreate the cover to "Avengers" #223.

GAME OF THRONES | In other exclusive news, Funko has a "Game of Thrones" Daenerys Targaryen Pop! Vinyl Figure that is only available at Barnes & Noble stores. This one comes with a gold and white dragon.

WALGREENS EXCLUSIVES | McFarlane Toys has teamed up with Walgreens to get even more Halo and Assassin's Creed video game-based action figures into collectors' hands. Head on over to the drugstore next month to get your hands on a green and steel-armored Spartan C.I.O. and/or Connor from "Assassin's Creed III" in his New York duds. Both figures come with accessories and codes to unlock exclusive game content.

MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE CLASSICS | Mattel really got into the spirit at the recent PowerCon. Not only did they have a presence at the toy and animation-centric convention, but they also revealed a bunch of new Masters of the Universe Classics figures including Blade from the 1987 film, Scorpia from "She-Ra" and an oversized Battle Lion to go with your King Grayskull figure. The company also showed off updated shots of Castle Grayskull in and out of the box and announced that Club Eternia subscriptions are available to purchase between 9/20 and 9/24.

BATMAN | Hot Toys came out of the Batcave with Batguns blazing this week. Not only did they show off a ton of images of both Batman and Robin from the '60s "Batman" TV series, but they also posted 80 images of the Batman figure from "The Dark Knight Rises." All three figures look like they were created with some kind of spooky human-to-toy ray and also come with more accessories than we can count. The best ones, though, have to be the swap-out hands that allow our hero to do the Batusi.

THE WALKING DEAD | Sometimes the answer to the question, "What could make these toys cooler?" is simply, "Make them bigger." That's what Funko's doing with their vinyl Walking Dead toys, giving them an update to 7 whopping inches. The first wave hits in October and includes Prison Guard Walker, Daryl Dixon and RV Walker.

SPIDER-MAN | Spider-Man let Gwen and MJ have the spotlight before him, but now it's time to check out Sideshow Collectibles' J. Scott Campbell-based statue of the Wall Crawler! Stuck to a wall and ready to shoot webs, your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man comes in two versions, the regular masked one and the Sideshow exclusive which comes with a rolled up mask showcasing Peter's winning grin. The piece will ship in May.
