Who's a bigger deal, Batman or The Avengers? It's surely a conversation that's been had amongst friends, comic shop regulars and internet acquaintances. Both sides of the fence can site comic book sales, box office bucks and even cartoon superiority and, of course, collectible offerings. This week, the evidence is pretty even as DC Collectibles revealed a slew of Dark Knight related figures, statues and replicas -- including a few that haven't been made -- while Diamond Select Toys and Funko both unveiled new toys based on "Avengers: Age of Ultron." Those two stalwarts aren't the only ones with exciting new offerings. "Aliens," "Big Trouble in Little China," "Game of Thrones," "Iron Giant," Valiant and "The Twilight Zone" also had respectable showings as you will see by reading on!

DC COLLECTIBLES | Batman continues to inspire a variety of action figure and statue offerings thanks to his many incarnations over the years. DC Collectibles revealed a variety of new pieces in the latest batch of solicits.

The deluxe Roxy Rocket from "The New Batman Adventure" comes with her signature mode of transportation. Batman and Catwoman also appear along with Wonder Woman and Superman in the first series of Jae Lee action figures. Meanwhile, Bryan Hitch's take on Batman and Babs Tarr's rendition of Batgirl have made their way into the Batman: Black and White statues series. As if all that wasn't enough, a replica police badge based on "Gotham" and a Jim Lee-designed Catwoman bust will also make their way to stores.

But, DCC has more than Bat-related items. Hal Jordan will join the DC Comics Icons statue line and Lois Lane leaps into the Bombshell line proudly holding a copy of the Daily Planet praising Superman's latest victory. All of these pieces will be available in August.

AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON | Funko also came out of the gate this week with a huge showing of collectibles, this time based around the May 1-debuting "Avengers: Age of Ultron." The Pop Vinyl gang will swell to include Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, Hulk, Hawkeye, Vision and Ultron as they will appear in the new Joss Whedon film. The box of Mystery Minis will feature all of those characters -- including Hulkbuster, blue armored and other variations on Iron Man -- as well as Nick Fury and Black Widow. Iron Man, Captain America, Hulk and Thor will also be available in a box set of Mini Wacky Wobblers. All of these collectibles hit in March. Finally, April will see the release of the four major stars in the company's plush line of toys called Fabrikations.

AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON | Earlier this week CBR scored the exclusive first look at Diamond Select Toys' Marvel Select "Avengers: Age of Ultron" figures. The Black Widow is still being kept under wraps, but you can now bask in the full glory of Hulk. Also, for good measure, check out the company's movie-based Ant-Man figure!

VALIANT MINIMATES | DST and CBR also joined forces to show off the first official images of the Battle Damaged Valiant Minimate 2-pack of Bloodshot and X-O Manowar. Both figures comes with heads the turn around for different looks, a gun and X-O's armor sphere.

IRON GIANT | Back in July, Mondo announced their entry into the world of collectibles with a few offerings including a deluxe action figure based on Brad Bird's "Iron Giant." The figure is now available for pre-order. Limited quantities exist of a version that comes with an exclusive "Hand Under Foot" accessory. As you can see from the photo, even Bird approves of the toy which ships in the spring!

GAME OF THRONES | Dark Horse Deluxe decided to go with a pair of best buddies for their next "Game of Thrones" statue presentation. In this case, it's Daenerys Targaryen are her fire-breathing friend (and dragon) Drogon. As you can see, the piece isn't very tall, but does measure 14-inches across and is 18 inches deep. The statue hits stores on July 15.

BIG TROUBLE IN LITTLE CHINA | The world wasn't quite sure what to make of John Carpenter's kung-fu-filled "Big Trouble in Little China" when it first appeared in 1986. Over the years, though, it's amassed quite the cult following and even inspired a new comic series from BOOM! Studios and various collectibles from Funko. Speaking of the latter, February will see the release of Jack Burton, Gracie Law, Lo Pan, Rain, Thunder and Lightning in both the Pop Vinyl line and the Kenner-inspired ReAction line. Each of the ReAction figures comes with a character-specific accessory or two.

ALIENS | Another beloved film from 1986, "Aliens" captured imaginations and fueled nightmares for a generation of viewers. Hollywood Collectibles Group decided to celebrate one of the more heroic moments in the film by creating this 33-inch-tall replica of the Power Loader Ripley uses at the end of the film. HCG also has a limited-to-350-piece version that comes with plans to build your own loader that measure in at 24 by 18 inches. Both ship this spring.

TWILIGHT ZONE | Bif Bang Pow unveiled early looks at figures from their second wave of "Twilight Zone" figures in a pair of posts. The first three come from the classic episode "Eye of the Beholder" and consist of the pig-faced doctor and nurse as well as the bandaged patient. Next up is sad sack Santa Henry Corwin as seen in "The Night of the Meek."

DC COLLECTIBLES | It seems fitting to end this column in a somewhat similar place than we began, so let's take a look at some more DC Collectibles items. In this case, these figures and statues actually never got made, but did get fairly far in the development process. DCC opened up their vault to show off Ame-Comi Mary Marvel, DC Universe Online versions of Catwoman, Batman and Cyborg, a Black Manta bust, 3.75 inch takes on New 52 characters Demon, Constantine, Batman, Captain Cold and Sinestro and Rainbow Batman figures. There's even a poll so fans can vote on which of these they's like to see on shelves in the future.
