TOYING AROUND: "Captain America: Civil War," Daredevil, Wolverine & More!

The collectible world seemed to make theirs Marvel this week. Everyone from Hasbro and Funko to Kotobukiya, Mezco and more showed off new pieces based on the House of Ideas' most famous denizens. It probably has something to do with the fact that Netflix's second season of "Daredevil" just went live, "Captain America: Civil War" is hitting theaters on May 6 and that latest "X-Men: Apocalypse" trailer just rocked our faces off. Of course, other groups and companies displayed cool new items, you'll just have to read on to find out what they are.

MARVEL LEGENDS | First and foremost, Hasbro distributed official images of the 6-inch Marvel Legends wave tying into "Civil War." The line-up includes movie versions of Captain America, Iron Man and Black Panther as well as comic-inspired choices like Nick Fury, Nuke and Red Guardian. Each one comes with a Build-A-Figure piece that makes a Giant-Man figure... who looks an awful lot like Ant-Man. Hasbro will also offer Black Panther role play toys for kids as part of an expanded, multi-company initiative to celebrate the King of Wakanda's entrance into the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR | For an arrow-shooting dad, Hawkeye still seems like one of the cooler Avengers around and not just because his latest Hot Toys action figure looks so rad. The piece shows off Jeremy Renner's look in "Captain America: Civil War" and also comes with a nice Ant-Man arrow to recreate the scene in the movie that itself is based on the cover to "Avengers" #223.

DAREDEVIL | The Mezco One:12 Collective version of red-suited Daredevil went up for pre-order this week. Like this fellow line-mates, DD comes packed with 32 points of articulation, battle-damaged head, multiple swap-out hands, all manner of billy club accessories and even a clip-on sonar effect to recreate his powers! This version of Daredevil ships in the fall, but be on the look out for others too as the year rolls on.

WOLVERINE | He may not play a prominent part in the upcoming "X-Men: Apocalypse" movie, but Wolverine is still one of the most popular mutants on the planet. Of course, he's going to be included in the X-Men Marvel Now! ARTFX+ line from Kotobukiya. Ready to slice and dice, this 7.5-inch statue ships in September.

SPIDER-MAN | For such a nice guy, Spider-Man sure does amass a lot of nasty bad guys. This epic, 25-inch-tall statue from Iron Studios and distributed by Sideshow Collectibles shows that off as the Web Head swings through an Oscorp factory trying to avoid attacks from both Green Goblin and Doctor Octopus. This dynamic piece ships in the summer.

FUNKO | Even Funko got in on the Marvel action, along with a few other beloved franchises. The fourth wave of Marvel Pops will include Doctor Octopus, Doctor Strange, Spider-Gwen, She-Hulk and Captain Marvel and Falcon. Plus, 6-inch super sized versions of Giant-Man will make his way into both Pop and Dorbz formats.

Meanwhile, Harry, Ron and Hermione chug into stores along with pieces of the Hogwarts Express thanks to the Pop Ride series. Harry comes with the engine while the other two come packed with carriage cars. Hopefully Malfoy is the caboose. "Bob's Burgers" also continues its Pop prominence with another wave hitting in June that includes Beefsquatch, Teddy and Buttloose Tina.

Finally, those darn kids in the Scooby Gang (the real one, sorry Buffy fans) will star in two waves of Dorbz this summer. The first includes Scooby and Shaggy plus a Werewolf for them to chase around. The second rounds out the group with Fred, Daphne, Velma and a Witch Doctor. Fred will also come with a Dorbz Ridez of the iconic Mystery Machine to get the fun rolling in June.

SUPERGIRL | While Marvel certainly has this week covered in collectibles, people are all about Supergirl these days. Her CBS series is a nice bright spot in a generally dark super hero landscape and we're all jazzed about the impending "Flash" crossover. Sideshow captures the fun spirit of the character with the comic-based Premium Format Figure. Standing two feet tall, this piece finds Kara floating gracefully on what looks to be an asteroid. The Sideshow exclusive version comes with Silver Age companion Streaky the Supercat and both ship early next year.

BATMAN '66 | The Dynamic Duo might have been the stars of the 1960s "Batman" TV series, but the villains kept viewers coming back for more, if for no other reason than to see how the heroes would get out of their cliffhanger-inducing traps. While many of those baddies came from the comics, some were created specifically for the show. Enter: Egghead! The egg enthusiast played delightfully by Vincent Price might have been a little too specific in his methodology, but he makes for a stunningly campy maquette from Tweeterhead. The piece measures 14 inches tall and ships later this year.

MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE | Eternia's most nefarious sorceress appears to be the next entrant in Sideshow's series of re-envisioned characters from "Masters of the Universe." Evil-Lyn may have worked with Skeletor, but she always seemed to be the most capable person in Snake Mountain. You can see that in this 21.5-inch-tall statue that comes with her orb-topped staff. Those who purchase the Sideshow exclusive will also get a perched version of her pet Screech the Falcon. The statue will ship early next year.
