When it comes to the greatest characters of the past century, many of them come from comics. And some of the most important and popular are none other than Batman and Spider-Man. The former spawned three different batches of collectibles this week while the latter can be found in mini figure form. Of course, they are not alone. Other beloved characters like Red Sonja, Judge Dredd and Harry Potter make the list along with others that will either tickle your fancy right now or very soon.

BATMAN | Frank Miller's "The Dark Knight Returns" has been influencing people for nearly 30 years, and now it's leading to some amazing statues from DC Collectibles. The company revealed a bust based on Frank Miller's original series as well as a foot-tall statues based on Andy Kubert's artwork from the upcoming "Dark Knight III: The Master Race." Those will hit stories in February and June of next year, respectively.

MARVEL MINIMATES | Much like Diamond Select Toys' highly successful relationship with Marvel, DST's partnership with Toys "R" Us continues to result in rad collectibles. The 20th wave of TRU-exclusive Marvel Minimates can be found in stores now and consists of 2-packs based on Marvel's live action and animated TV shows. They consists of Spider-Man and Nick Fury, Nova and Carnage and Stealth Suit Spidey with Sandman.

BATMAN | This Batman guy sure is popular. In addition to the older version seen above, the Caped Crusader will become yet another statue from Prime 1 Studio and Sideshow Collectibles based on the Lee Bermejo-drawn "Batman: Noel" graphic novel. Limited to 750 pieces, the 30-inch tall statue comes with a "berserker" head if you buy the Sideshow exclusive version. He ships next spring so you'll have him in plenty of time for Christmas.

JUDGE DREDD | The One:12 Collective line of action figures at Mezco will continue to grow into the world of vehicles with the Judge Dredd Lawmaster. If you're less familiar with the character, that's his tricked out motorcycle. As you might expect the wheels really roll, the headlights, taillights and spotlight work, and there's even a specific storage area for handcuffs. The Mega-City One patroller rolls into stores in March or April of next year.

RED SONJA | A lot of people got super excited when Dynamite Entertainment announced that Marguerite Bennett and Aneke would start a new "Red Sonja" series next year. Many of them are probably also pretty stoked about Sideshow Collectibles' recently revealed She-Devil with a Sword piece. This Premium Format Figure stands 20 inches tall and comes ready to do epic battle. Those who purchase the Sideshow exclusive version will also get a swap-out right hand holding a massive axe for those threats that require two incredibly sharp weapons.

HARRY POTTER | Star Ace is getting in on the Quiddich game with a pair of Harry Potter figures ready to ride their brooms and steal those Snitches. Based on their appearances in "Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets," Harry Potter and Draco Malfoy come ready to play with their robes, brooms and figures stands for awesome posing possibilities.

THE HATEFUL EIGHT | A few years back, NECA announced that they would sell retro-styled figures based on Quentin Tarantino's "Django Unchained," but they got pulled thanks to controversy. The toy company hopes not to repeat that same experience with their "Hateful Eight" figuresM.a< which stand 8 inches tall, come in cloth costumes and are limited to just 3,000 pieces each. The line-up includes Major Marquis Warren, General Sandy Smithers, Joe Gage, Sheriff Chris Mannix, John Ruth, Oswaldo Mobray, Bob and Daisy Domergue.

MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE | Even though we still scratch our heads about why Evil Lyn stuck around with a constant screw-up like Skeletor, we're still big fans of Evil Lyn's whole vibe. So is Tweeterheads as you can see in this 1/4 scale, 11-inch-tall bust. Not only does it look spot-on, but it also features Swarovski crystals and ships early next year.

FUNKO | Finally, Funko dropped a trio of announcements this week. The company will have a variety of video game-based collectibles early next year.
