This spring will see two of the biggest super hero films of all-time arrive in theaters within a few months of each other. "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" will take the DC cinematic universe to the next level when it bows on March 25. And on May 6, "Captain America: Civil War" will bring Marvel Studios' Phase Three into view leading up to "Avengers: Infinity War." With those heavy hitting films in the offing, companies will have plenty of collectibles coming down the pike. Mezco and Diamond Select Toys each showed off their wares from each film, respectively, and there was plenty of other collectible news this week. Get on with the reading and see what's up!

BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE | These days people have a lot of questions of what "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" will be like when it hits on March 25. Until then, we'll just keep fawning over action figures like the new One:12 Collective ones based on the two main characters. Both figures come with a variety of hands, heads and a few other accessories. If you prefer your figures a bit smaller and more stylized, the Mez-Itz line will also lend itself to the film with figures of Superman, Wonder and Batman in his regular costume as well as his armor.

CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR | To celebrate the upcoming release of "Captain America: Civil War," Diamond Select Toys will supply marvelshop.com and Disney Store locations with a trio of Marvel Select figures based on the movie's characters. Avenging Captain America takes his cues from the Marvel NOW! costume while Black Panther harkens back to the Wakandan king's earliest appearances. Finally, the Winter Soldier makes a triumphant return with a shorter hair cut.

DIAMOND SELECT TOYS | In other Diamond Select Toys news, the company rolled out a new batch of solicits that includes everything from Minimates to Batman statues. New offerings include the Alien Big Chap Vinyl Bust Bunk, the 9-inch PVC "Batman The Animated Series" piece and Poison Ivy from the same line. Morrigan from "Dragon Age Inquisition" scores a Select figure while Lady Deadpool joins the line of PVC pieces. Meanwhile Daredevil will make his debut in the Marvel Retro Cloth figure line and "Superman The Animated Series" Lex Luthor becomes a resin bank.

And then you have the Minimates. The third series of Aliens toys in the format will launch with 2-packs of Narcissus Ripley and Narcissus Space Suit, Space Suit Dallas and Space Suit Lambert, Ash and Frozen Alien and a rare, one-per-case variant set of Battle-Damaged Ash with Frozen Alien. At the same time, the second Predator set of 2-packs will hit with Royce abd Berserker Predator from "Predators," Blain from "Predator" and Shaman Predator from "Predator 2," First Appearance Dutch and Cloaked Jungle Predator from "Predator" and the super-rare Final Battle Dutch and Cloaked Jungle Predator.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles fans will be happy to hear that the fourth wave of blind-bagged figures will include Space versions of Leonardo and Donatello, Raphael, Michelangelo, Fugitoid, Triceraton, Exo-Armor Kraang, Baxter Stockman and Oroku Saki, the latter two of which are ultra-rare. Finally, the hovering version of the DeLorean from "Back to the Future Part II" will zoom in with Future Doc Brown in his wild yellow coat and killer silver shades.

THE WALKING DEAD | This month, the Vigilante version of Rick Grimes will make his way into the line of McFarlane Deluxe Walking Dead action figures. Like his fellow Deluxers, Rick will be 10 inches tall, come splattered in blood and wield the included revolver, machete, knife and d-rings. To make the figure as accurate to the AMC series as possible, it actually comes from 3D scans of actor Andrew Lincoln.

BATMAN: ARKHAM KNIGHT | Prime 1 Studio and Sideshow Collectibles have the Batman you both deserve and want with this "Batman: Arkham Knight" bust. Pulled from the game, the limited-to-1000 piece statue stands 1015 inches tall and comes with three heads: unmasked, angry and beat-up. He can be pre-ordered now and ships next summer.

FUNKO | We might be pretty far from Halloween, but Funko has some scary collectibles in the works for fall. March will see the release of Mr. March, Hypodermic Sally and Holden from "American Horror Story: Hotel." In April, business card, Phil Collins and murder enthusiast Patrick Bateman will make his way into the Vinyl Idolz line along with jumpsuit-wearing Walter White from "Breaking Bad."

The company also unveiled a quartet of Harry Potter Pop Vinyls that will be sold exclusively at certain stores. Quiddich Draco Malfoy and Triwizard Cedric Diggory will be at Hot Topic while Barnes & Noble will have Sorting Hat Harry Potter and Neville Longbottom. All four debut in March.

MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE CLASSICS | After wowing Thundercats fans with a subscription, Mattycollector is giving He-Man fans a look at one based on the classic 1980s cartoon characters. This year six Filmation figures will arrive including He-Man, Skeletor, Trap Jaw, Beast Man, Evil-Lyn, Clawful and Evil Seed (but only if you subscribe). The sale starts on February 11 for subscribers and the 15th for everyone else.

TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE 2 | Finally, NECA offers for your consideration, a murderous psychopath in a suit! That's right, the company gave fans a better look at Leatherface in Retro Cloth form as he appeared in 1986's "Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2." In addition to his fancy duds and screen-accurate mask, he comes with chainsaw and a blood-stained carving knife. He'll hit stores like a chainsaw tornado come June.
