With less than five months until its wide release in theaters everywhere, returning star Tom Hanks has officially completed recording his lines for Toy Story 4.The voice actor shared a behind-the-scenes photo from his final recording session reprising his role as the cowboy doll Woody for the upcoming Pixar sequel through his official Twitter account.RELATED: Pixar Introduces Toy Story 4's New and Improved Bo Peep

The Academy Award-winning actor has been a part of the inaugural Pixar franchise since the film series' start with the original animated film in 1995, serving as the protagonist along with Tim Allen's sci-fi action figure Buzz Lightyear.

While the details for Toy Story 4 are still largely being kept under wraps, the sequel is expected to reunite Woody with his longtime love interest Bo Peep only for the star-crossed toy couple to learn they may have grown in noticeably different directions since they last saw each other.

Directed by Josh Cooley, Toy Story 4 stars Tom Hanks, Tim Allen, Joan Cusack, Keanu Reeves, Annie Potts, Don Rickles, Estelle Harris, Wallace Shawn, John Ratzenberger, Jeff Pidgeon, Blake Clark, Keegan-Michael Key, Jordan Peele and Tony Hale. The film opens on June 21.
