After 2010's Toy Story 3 left audiences in tears, Toy Story 4 is shaping up to be another emotional new journey with Woody (Tom Hanks), Buzz (Tim Allen) and the rest of the beloved toys.
While there have been some previews released for the film, they've been primarily focused on introducing new characters like the existentially horrified Forky (Tony Hale) and the snarky stuffed animal pair of Ducky (Keegan-Michael Key) and Bunny (Jordan Peele).
Now, Disney has revealed that new footage from the animated film will premiere in an upcoming "sneak peek" during the broadcast of the Super Bowl.
Yesterday, the announcement was made on the official Disney Twitter account, which revealed that the next teaser for the film will premiere Sunday night after Super Bowl LIII. The trailer will be just one of the many big name films that will be advertised during the course of the game between the New England Patriots and the Los Angeles Rams.
Directed by Josh Cooley, Toy Story 4 stars Tom Hanks, Tim Allen, Joan Cusack, Keanu Reeves, Annie Potts, Don Rickles, Estelle Harris, Wallace Shawn, John Ratzenberger, Jeff Pidgeon, Blake Clark, Keegan-Michael Key, Jordan Peele and Tony Hale. The film opens on Jun. 21.
