Just in time for the release of Toy Story 4, fans of the hit Pixar franchise have released a trailer for a live-action "remake" of Toy Story 3.

The project, titled Toy Story 3 In Real Life, is a shot-for-shot remake of the beloved 2010 film, one of only three animated films to receive an Academy Award nomination for Best Picture. Rather than being completely computer animated, the creators of Toy Story 3 in Real Life have opted for live-action. While flesh-and-blood humans play Andy, Bonnie and the kids at Sunnyside Daycare, the toys will be brought to life via a combination of stop-motion animation and claymation.

The movie, a passion project for two brothers, has been eight years in the making, according to a Reddit post. They aimed to make sure every shot of the 103-minute film plays as smoothly as it did on the big screen nearly a decade ago.

Toy Story 3 In Real Life is not the first attempt fans have made to recreate the series. In 2013, YouTube user JPandBeyond released a full shot-for-shot remake of the first Toy Story, which has accumulated 22 million views.

Directed by Josh Cooley, Toy Story 4 stars Tom Hanks, Tim Allen, Joan Cusack, Keanu Reeves, Annie Potts, Don Rickles, Estelle Harris, Wallace Shawn, John Ratzenberger, Jeff Pidgeon, Blake Clark, Keegan-Michael Key, Jordan Peele and Tony Hale. The film opens June 21.
