Kaplan and Mutti's series takes place in the near-future with an extraterrestrial conglomerate approaching the citizens of Earth not to conquer but to make a bargain: Open the planet as a spaceport for alien travelers in exchange for advanced technology. The comic book series is the third one co-created by Kaplan to currently be in development for television. His first Top Cow series, Eclipse, which he co-created with Giovanni Timpano is also in development with Skybound Entertainment. Additionally, Lost City Explorers, co-created by Kaplan and Alvaro Sarraseca with Aftershock Comics, is in development for television with Universal and Aftershock Entertainment.
