Those Scott brothers sure are busy. While Ridley (Alien) wraps work on Prometheus and searches to find the person who will help him return to the world of Blade Runner, Deadline reports brother Tony (True Romance, Unstoppable) has plans to direct David Guggenheim's Narco Sub script. The pair worked together on the screenplay, which will be produced by both Simon Kinberg’s Genre Films and the Scotts' Scott Free banner.
According to the website, the film revolves around "the semi-submersible crafts South American drug cartels employ to smuggle cocaine into the U.S." These subs have been trafficking drugs for years, although weren't spotted by authorities until 2006. Narco Sub is being described as a combination of Tony's previous films Crimson Tide and Man on Fire.
