Screen Junkies has combined Pacific Rim Uprising and the new Tomb Raider reboot into one Honest Trailer, because we all know you went to see Black Panther instead.

The Honest Trailers series continues to poke fun at Hollywood blockbusters, or in this case, Tomb Raider and Pacific Rim Uprising for their lack of quality scripts and box office power.

The video, which clocks in at just over four minutes, knocks Warner Bros. Pictures for its sub-par handling of the Tomb Raider video game property it inherited, and for making Pacific Rim Uprising just to cash in on the Chinese box office.

Most of all, the trailer wades into the formulaic plots in both films (i.e. the heroes teaming up with Asian allies to stop villains), the weak leads (played by John Boyega in Uprising and Alicia Vikander in Tomb Raider), and how much destruction both caused while trying to save the world; all things they believe may kill off hopes of sequels being made.

In addition to these cheeky comparisons, the trailer addresses Uprising's action star Scott Eastwood being stereotyped as Hollywood's newest go-to military man, along with the sequel telling more of a video game story than the adventures of Lara Croft herself -- something Screen Junkies felt was done much better with the Angelina Jolie-led Tomb Raider franchise, although the newest movie does get Honest Trailers points for its lack of female objectification.
