Square Enix's Tomb Raider trilogy began in 2013 and came to an end with the 2018 game, Shadow of the Tomb Raider. The trilogy introduced a different Lara Croft to the fanbase than ones long-time gamers had gotten to know over the last two decades-- one that was just getting used to the adventurous life.

The entire trilogy, including Tomb Raider, Rise of the Tomb Raider and Shadow of the Tomb Raider, will be available in one collection titled, Tomb Raider: Definitive Survivor Trilogy, according to a leaked announcement on the Microsoft Store (the page has since been removed). The collection is set to be a available on March 18 and will reportedly include all three base games as well as associated content.

The series has recieved generally positive reviews and has even seen a film adaptation starring Alicia Vikander. A sequel for the film is currently in development, though its progress has been impacted by the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
