Tom Taylor Teased DCEASED in October & Everyone Missed It

As comic book writer Tom Taylor continues to tease an ominous secret project for DC Comics, he has revealed he first shared artwork from unannounced project this past October in time for Halloween.

Using the hashtag #DCEASED on his Twitter profile, Taylor retweeted the unfinished art showing Batman punching what appears to a zombie while Wonder Woman battles hordes of the undead in the background.

Earlier this week, Taylor had posted cryptic teases of an upcoming DC Comics project through his various social media platforms, linked with the hashtag #DCEASED before hinting that it would involve the death of longtime DC Universe villain Darkseid. Following the clue, Taylor shared a page of artwork from Trevor Hairsine showing Superman dismayed by a violent riot in the streets of Metropolis.

There is no official word from DC Comics regarding the project, including its title or release date, but given Taylor's past work writing the bestselling comic book adaptations to the popular fighting game Injustice: Gods Among Us, the writer is no stranger to putting the DC Universe through cataclysmic events.
