Tom King has been one of DC's most prolific writers in DC, writing for iconic characters like Batman, Mister Miracle, and Rorschach. With his recent work on Batman: One Bad Day: The Riddler, King continues to leave his mark on the DC Universe, especially where Batman is concerned. King has brought exciting new stories to readers of numerous titles. Now He's working with artist Phil Hester to explore the early days of the Wayne family in Gotham City: Year One #1.

While at New York Comic Con 2022, King sat down with CBR to talk about his career in comics. He spoke about his collaboration with Mitch Gerads and how they perfect each book, how he approaches each character he writes, and his impact on the mythos of Batman.
