Prepare to see Peter Parker like never before in Spider-Man: No Way Home. During an interview with CBR, longtime Spider-Man star Tom Holland revealed that the upcoming film allowed him to tap into Peter's bad side, in a way that will shock fans of the character.

When CBR asked what No Way Home allowed them to do with their characters that they hadn't been able to previously, Zendaya said, "We see so many more sides of Peter. All the characters, you know? "Yeah, and also Peter Parker's ability to be bad," Holland added. "There's something that happens in this film which I think fans will be very shocked by, which is really exciting and, for me, was something I loved bringing to the screen."

Along Spider-Man's Marvel Cinematic Universe journey so far, Peter Parker has done many things -- traveled the world, gone to space, been blipped out of existence for five years -- but he has never been "bad." However, No Way Home throws him into a situation unlike any other when his secret identity is revealed to the world. The film picks up right where Spider-Man: Far From Home ended, as he watches in horror while The Daily Bugle's J. Jonah Jameson announces that Spider-Man is actually a teenager named Peter Parker.

From there, No Way Home throws Peter's life into chaos. In a bid to get everything back to normal, he approaches Doctor Strange for help and requests a spell that would make everyone forget he is Spider-Man. When Strange's attempt goes wrong, Spider-Man villains from across the multiverse begin to turn up, and they all have it out for Peter. As a result, Strange tasks Peter and his friends with wrangling the villains and sending them back -- but at a cost Peter may not be willing to pay.

To see Peter's "ability to be bad" for yourself, check out Spider-Man: No Way Home when it arrives in theaters on Friday, Dec. 17.
