Tom Holland is officially off Instagram, at least for the time being.

During an interview with E! News, Holland and Onward co-star Chris Pratt were asked what technology they'd like to see disappear. Pratt answered with "Twitter," while Holland said "Instagram." Holland went on to reveal that he'd deleted the Instagram app and expanded on his reasons for doing so.

"It was taking over my life, and I was becoming obsessed by it," the actor said. "Like, 'How many likes did I get?' and 'What did people say about my picture?' and who's doing this and who's doing that. I found myself focusing more on my Instagram life than I was on my real life."

Holland also spoke on the benefits of removing himself from the app. "And now that I've taken a step back and I've started to focus on Tom and the future of what Tom is gonna be, I have—I'm talking about myself in the third person, I sound like such a dick, but you know what I mean. I'm just working on myself, and I feel really great for it."

In addition to both providing vocal work for Onward, Chris Pratt and Tom Holland both appear in the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Peter Quill/Star Lord and Peter Parker/Spider-Man, respectively. The pair shared the screen together in Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame.
