The Venom and Dark Knight Rises actor posted a photo of himself on Instagram clad in Stormtrooper armor; however, he removed the image not long after. Luckily, one of Hardy's fans snagged the photo before it was taken down.

Rumors of Hardy's cameo arose months ago, during production of The Last Jedi, but he managed to sidestep any questions about it. “I don't know if I can even say that. Where did you hear that?" he said in one interview. “It could be [true], couldn't it?”

Other celebrity cameos include Baby Driver director Edgar Wright, actor Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Rogue One director Gareth Edwards and actor Justin Theroux, as well as Prince William and Prince Harry. However, the princes' roles were ultimately left out of the final cut.
