In this special, final trailer for Universal's Dark Universe franchise kickoff, star Tom Cruise gives a brief introduction, speaking of his own love of the classic Universal monster films. "I remember watching the classic Universal monster films as a kid and I fell in love with those characters," Cruise says. " It's a real privilege to bring one of my favorite monster movies into modern day with this new film. I hope you enjoy this special look at The Mummy."

The trailer also features more of Sofia Boutella's titular mummy, who declares, "You wish to see what I have seen. You will, when I kill you," Russell Crowe's Dr. Jekyll/ Mr. Hyde and plenty of cuts of Tom Cruise running.

Directed by Alex Kurtzman and based on a script from John Spaihts and Christopher McQuarrie, The Mummy will star Tom Cruise, Sofia Boutella, Annabelle Wallis, Jake Johnson, Courtney B. Vance and Russell Crowe. The Mummy shambles into theaters Friday, Jun 9.
