The Tokyo Revengers Manga Is Ending Soon

Mangaka Ken Makui's Tokyo Revengers series first appeared in Kodansha's Weekly Shōnen Magazine in March 2017. The publisher recently announced that the manga's final chapter will feature in the Nov. 16 issue of the magazine. The narrative focuses on Takemichi Hanagaki, an unemployed 26-year-old with profound regrets. However, he gets the opportunity to fix his past mistakes when he is transported back in time to his high school years. Utilizing his knowledge of the future and having the primary goal of saving the life of his childhood sweetheart, Hinata Tachibana, Takemichi infiltrates the Tokyo Manji Gang.

Since its release, Tokyo Revengers has performed well with critics; the manga won the shōnen category at the Kodansha Manga Award in 2020 and placed 9th on Da Vinci magazine's "Book of the Year" list in 2021. Moreover, fans from around the world have purchased over 65 million copies of the series, making Tokyo Revengers Kodansha's most profitable manga since Hajime Isayama's Attack on Titan.
