While Ken Wakui's Tokyo Revengers manga series may be coming to an end, there is plenty of new content for the series on the way.According to the Manga Mogura RE Twitter account, seven new Tokyo Revengers books will drop on Jan. 17, 2023, with the most notable being the final volume of the manga. The other titles include full-color versions of Tokyo Revengers Vol. 1 and Vol. 2 and two short stories, an updated character guide, Vol. 2 of the spin-off series Letter from Baji Keisuke and Vol. 5 of Todai Revengers.RELATED: Tokyo Revengers Publisher’s Staff Unionize Amidst Accusations of Being 'Overworked, Underpaid'

Wakui published the first chapter of his iconic manga series in Kodansha's Weekly Shōnen Magazine in March 2017, and the final chapter will appear in the Nov. 16 issue of the magazine. The story follows Takemichi Hanagaki, a young adult burnt out on life. However, when he finds himself transported back in time to his high school years, he uses his knowledge of future events to correct the mistakes of his past and (hopefully) save the life of his childhood sweetheart, Hinata Tachibana, by infiltrating the Tokyo Manji gang.

With over 65 million copies in circulation globally as of July 2022, Tokyo Revengers is Kodansha's most successful manga since Hajime Isayama's post-apocalyptic fantasy series Attack on Titan. Moreover, Wakui's story has exceedingly well with critics; in 2020, for example, it won the shōnen category at the 44th Kodansha Manga Awards.

This character list includes Kokonoi Hajime, voiced by Platinum End's Natsuki Hanae, and Inui Seisyu, played by Komi Can't Communicate's Junya Enoki.

Moreover, YÅ«ki Shin (Edens Zero) and Azumi Waki (My Next Life as a Villainess: All Routes Lead to Doom!) have reprised their respective roles as Takemichi and Hinata for Tokyo Revengers: Christmas Showdown.
