This June, "Everybody Loves Raymond" star Brad Garrett will lend his voice to Krang for "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows." LA Times reports that Garrett has officially joined the "TMNT" sequel.

At WonderCon this past March, executive producers Andrew Form and Brad Fuller revealed that comedian and actor Fred Armisen would provide the voice for the alien warlord in the upcoming movie. "It was a very hard character to cast," Form said, before adding that the "SNL" alum and "Portlandia" star is bringing his own feel to the character this very week. However, due to scheduling issues, he has stepped down from the role.

Garrett has a lot of experience in voice work, and his long list of credits includes "Tangled," "Finding Nemo" and "Ratatouille." He has also appeared in various television roles, like "Fargo" and "How to Live with Your Parents (For the Rest of Your Life)."

In "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" lore, Krang is a citizen of Dimension X who was stripped of his body -- reducing him to a brain-like form -- and banished to earth. Once there, he allied himself with Shredder, the Turtles' nemesis. Shredder went so far as to build Krang a human-shaped exo-suit. Krang's primary goal is taking over Earth.

"Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows" hits theaters on June 3, 2016 and stars Megan Fox, Stephen Amell, Tyler Perry, Will Arnett and more.
