TMNT #100 Variant Cover Lists Every Creator Who Ever Worked On The Turtles

35 years ago, Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird introduced the world to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, who have since gone on to become some of the most popular characters in all of fiction. Now, a variant cover for IDW Publishing's upcoming 100th issue pays homage to not just Eastman and Laird but also every other creator who has ever worked on the turtles.

Produced by Ciro Nieli -- who was showrunner and co-developer for the first Nickelodeon Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles animated series -- the cover features Leonardo, Michelangelo, Raphael and Donatello leaping over the rooftops of New York in front of a completely blank background, either patrolling the city or trying to find a place to get some pizza.

However, it's the buildings that truly catch the eyes of readers as they feature the names of all the creators who have taken a shot at the mutated reptilian vigilantes from the sewers of the Big Apple. Aside from Eastman, Laird and Nieli, the cover also lists such prominent names as Jack Kirby, Devin Grayson, Jim Lee, Peter David and Walt Simonson among its ranks.

Written by Eastman and Tom Waltz and featuring art by Mateus Santolouco, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #100 goes on sale Nov. 29 from IDW.
