Although we already knew that DC's Titans will at least pay a visit to Gotham City, new production details for the upcoming live-action series reveal a specific, and noteworthy, setting: Bruce Wayne's penthouse.
A call sheet obtained by ComicBookMovie lists "Bruce's Penthouse" for scenes involving Brenton Thwaites as Dick Grayson, Anna Diop as Starfire, Teagan Croft as Raven (referred to as Rachel), Ryan Potter as Beast Boy and Reed Birney as a character named "The Messenger."
There are also scenes in which the Titans rescue Starfire from an unspecified asylum. We'll likely have to wait to determine whether it's Arkham Asylum, or an institution less notorious.
The luxury penthouse was a key location in Christopher Nolan's 2008 film The Dark Knight, used by Bruce Wayne (Christian Bale) after the destruction of Wayne Manor by the League of Shadows. It also has a long comic book history, as Bruce Wayne and Alfred Pennyworth moved into the plush residence atop the Wayne Foundation after Dick Grayson moved out of Wayne Manor to attend Hudson University.Grayson was staying in the penthouse suite in 1980's New Teen Titans #1 when he was visited by Raven and spurred re-form the superhero team.
The call sheet, which spells out where and when key cast and crew members need to be on a particular day, offers no indication whether "Bruce's Penthouse" is a primary location for Titans or simply used for a handful of scenes. And, despite a rumor that the second Robin, Jason Todd, could appear in an episode, there's no sign (yet) that we'll see Bruce Wayne.
Launching later this year on Warner Bros.' new DC-branded streaming platform, Titans stars Brenton Thwaites as Dick Grayson, Anna Diop as Starfire, Teagan Croft as Raven, Ryan Potter as Beast Boy, Alan Ritchson as Hawk, Minka Kelly as Dove and Lindsey Gort as Amy Rohrbach.
