Although Titans hasn't yet aired, the inaugural superhero show on DC Universe has already been renewed for a second season. However, fans won't have to wait that long to get a look at a comics-accurate costume for Starfire.

At Wednesday night's Titans premiere, Anna Diop -- who plays Starfire -- told ComicBook.com that she would get a more comics-accurate costume as the first season progressed. "As soon as I put it on, everyone was flipping out," she said. "It’s awesome because it’s something that so many people have seen for so long and it means so much to people and this is the first time we’re bringing it to life, but you know — our story takes its time. It takes its time, it’s an origin story, so it takes its time in the characters coming to this place where you see them and the way that everyone’s always known. I hope that the audience can be patient with us and have fun with us. It’s a ride, and it’s a fun one.”

Exactly when and how Starfire will get her costume in the season is unknown. However, for those fans who were concerned about the lack of comics-accurate costumes on the show, this news will likely come as relief.

Debuting Friday, Oct. 12, on the DC Universe streaming service, Titans stars Brenton Thwaites as Robin, Anna Diop as Starfire, Teagan Croft as Raven, Ryan Potter as Beast Boy, Alan Ritchson as Hawk, Minka Kelly as Dove, and Lindsey Gort as Amy Rohrbach.
