New episodes of DC Universe's Titans are currently underway with the second season airing in September. In addition to the original cast of teen heroes, season two will bring in many new characters, such as Superboy and Krypto. New set photos show Beast Boy (Ryan Potter) interacting with Superboy (Joshua Orpin) and his dog companion Krypto.The photos posted by Toronto Filming on Twitter show the actors walking around a park with Potter in his familiar Beast Boy getup and Orpin in a more casual outfit. A dog playing the part of Krypto can also be seen walking alongside Potter and a crew member.
Superboy and Krypto were first seen in a post-credits teaser scene after the Titans season one finale. Superboy was seen escaping the Cadmus laboratory after freeing Krypto and killing the scientists keeping them captive. Orpin will be a series regular in season two. Other newcomers to the series will include Esai Morales as Deathstroke, Iain Glen as Bruce Wayne, Chella Man as Jericho and Chelsea T. Zhang as Ravager.
Now streaming on DC Universe, Titans stars Brenton Thwaites as Dick Grayson, Anna Diop as Kory Anders, Teagan Croft as Rachel Roth and Ryan Potter as Garfield Logan, with Rachel Nichols as Angela, Seamus Dever as Trigon, Minka Kelly as Dawn Granger, Alan Ritchson as Hank Hall and Curran Walters as Jason Todd. Season 2 arrives September 6.
