HBO Max released the first full-length trailer for Season 4 of DC's Titans.

The first teaser trailer for Titans Season 4 premiered at 2022's New York Comic Con, which offered a brief but bloody look at the upcoming season. The new trailer offered a deeper look at what audiences can expect from Season 4, which will introduce several new villains, including Brother Blood, Mother Mayhem and Jinx. It also hinted at a magic-powered Lex Luther's plans for Metropolis and teased supernatural threats the team must face to protect the city.

Filming for the upcoming season officially wrapped in September. Details regarding the plot of Season 4 remain scarce, though these three new villains were recently unveiled in first-look photos and concept art released by the show. Franka Potente as Mother Mayhem, Joseph Morgan as Brother Blood and Lisa Ambalavanar as Jinx, which will mark the character's live-action debut. In DC comics, Mother Mayhem is a high-ranking member of the Church of Blood, a cult led by the villainous Brother Blood. Both Brother Blood and Jinx appeared in the Teen Titans animated series, which aired on Cartoon Network between 2003 and 2006, and went on to appear in the network's 2013 spin-off, Teen Titans Go!

However, Titus Welliver is also set to appear as Superman villain Lex Luthor. In a recent interview, showrunner Greg Walker explained how the version of Lex Luthor that appears in Titans will challenge the titular heroes with his brand of villainy. According to Walker, the threat Luthor poses is largely psychological as one of the most famous DC supervillains of all time. "He has a very sensitive, thoughtful approach to evil and power," Walker said.

Titans stars Brenton Thwaites as Dick Grayson/Nightwing, Anna Diop as Kory Anders/Starfire, Teagan Croft as Rachel Roth/Raven, Ryan Potter as Gar Logan/Beast Boy, Curran Walters as Jason Todd/Red Hood, Conor Leslie as Donna Troy/Wonder Girl, Alan Ritchson as Hank Hall/Hawk, Minka Kelly as Dawn Granger/Dove, Chelsea Zhang as Rose Wilson and Joshua Orpin as Conner/Superboy.

It was reported in February that Lex Luthor would appear in Season 4 of Titans, apparently "towards the beginning" of the newest season, though he wouldn't become a regular character. Reportedly, Walker was focused more on making Luthor's screentime "memorable" than anything else. Season 4 was announced during DC FanDome 2021 and is expected to run for 13 episodes.

The first three seasons of Titans are streaming now on HBO Max. Season 4 is scheduled to premiere on the streaming service on Nov. 3.
