The Season 2 trailer for DC Universe's Titans is chock-full of new characters, from Bruce Wayne and Deathstroke to Superboy and Ravager, so fans can be forgiven if they miss the possible debut of another superhero, beloved to viewers of the animated Young Justice. We're talking about Miss Martian.

Fleeting and blurry, the moments come about 11 seconds into the new footage, as Anna Diop's Koriand'r and Conor Leslie's Donna Troy team up on the street to take down (quite literally) a figure in midair. Although it's impossible to make a positive identification, the red hair, blue skirt, and cape or coat certainly suggests Miss Martian.

While the character's inclusion would stack a season that's already crowded with new faces, it would certainly make sense. Created by Geoff Johns and Tony S. Daniel, Miss Martian was introduced in 2006 in Teen Titans #37. However, she became more widely known as one of the lead characters on the Young Justice animated series, where she's now a member of the Justice League.

Miss Martian also appeared in the second season of The CW's Supergirl, where she was played by Sharon Leal. However, her role on that series may be the biggest argument against the figure in the Titans trailer not being Miss Martian. That said, Slade Wilson has appeared prominently on The CW's Arrow, yet another version of the fan-favorite villain/antihero will be introduced on Titans. And while Batman is off-limits to the Arrowverse, we glimpsed the Dark Knight in costume in the nightmare world of the Season 1 finale. So, clearly, different rules apply to the DC Universe streaming service.

If that is, indeed, Miss Martian, or some version of her, it's certainly possible she's somehow involved with Project Cadmus, the laboratory from which Superboy and Krypto escape in the post-credits scene of Titans' Season 1 finale. That would not only explain her presence on Earth, but possibly establish a relationship with Superboy, to whom she's engaged on Young Justice: Outsiders.

Now streaming on DC Universe, Titans stars Brenton Thwaites as Dick Grayson, Anna Diop as Kory Anders, Teagan Croft as Rachel Roth and Ryan Potter as Garfield Logan, with Rachel Nichols as Angela, Seamus Dever as Trigon, Minka Kelly as Dawn Granger, Alan Ritchson as Hank Hall and Curran Walters as Jason Todd. Season 2 arrives Sept. 6.
