Titans Season 2 Synopsis Reveals a Villain's Past with the Team

The second season of Titans premieres in two weeks, bringing back the inaugural DC Universe series to further the adventures of the fledgling team.

The premium streaming service has released the official plot synopsis for Season 2, hinting that Deathstroke will not only be introduced but that he has a dark secret regarding the Titans that threatens the stability of the entire team.

In season two, following the aftermath of their encounter with Trigon, Dick reforms the Titans. Under his supervision in their new home at Titans Tower, Rachel, Gar and Jason Todd train together to hone their hero abilities and work together as a team. They are joined by Hank Hall and Dawn Granger aka Hawk and Dove and Donna Troy aka Wonder Girl. Although these original Titans attempt to transition into a regular life, when old enemies resurface everyone must come together to take care of unfinished business. And as this family of old and new Titans – including Conner Kent and Rose Wilson – learn to co-exist, the arrival of Deathstroke, brings to light the sins of the old Titans which threaten to tear this new Titans family apart once more.

With the team setting up a headquarters at Titan Tower while welcoming new members Conner Kent and Rose Wilson, the upcoming season is looking to dramatically increase the classic comic elements in the DCU series while giving the team the greatest villain it has ever known.

Now streaming on DC Universe, Titans stars Brenton Thwaites as Dick Grayson, Anna Diop as Kory Anders, Teagan Croft as Rachel Roth and Ryan Potter as Garfield Logan, with Rachel Nichols as Angela, Seamus Dever as Trigon, Minka Kelly as Dawn Granger, Alan Ritchson as Hank Hall, Curran Walters as Jason Todd and Joshua Orpin as Superboy. Season 2 arrives Sept. 6.
