DC Universe's inaugural original series Titans has released a brand new promo which includes a brief glimpse at one of the most iconic superheroes in the world.

The stylized clip shows the various heroes of the live-action series including Starfire, Raven, Beast Boy, Hawk and Dove, and both the Dick Grayson and Jason Todd versions of Robin. However, as Dick's tragic origins are retold, a familiar face, or rather cowl, enter the frame and loom over his legacy.

Featuring a short-eared cowl similar to the design of Ben Affleck's portrayal of the Caped Crusader in the DCEU, the passing visual is the first true look at the series' version of Batman. Previously, the character had only ever been seen in silhouette or just out of focus.

The Dark Knight's legacy has hung over Dick Grayson for the entire series so far with the two crimefighters parting ways after Dick feared he would follow in his mentor's lethal footsteps. Despite lingering rumors, there has been no official confirmation on who has been cast as the series' Batman.
