The overseas distribution rights is similar to a broadcasting deal between Netflix and CBS All Access for Star Trek: Discovery. While the new Star Trek series broadcasts exclusively on CBS' premium streaming service in the United States, foreign audiences stream the series on Netflix.

DC presumably has similar broadcasting deals with Netflix regarding their other exclusive programming, including Young Justice: Outsiders and Doom Patrol. Principal photography on the second season of Titans is rumored to begin in February.
