Actor Jay Lycurgo hilariously commented on his dual DC roles in Warner Bros. Pictures' The Batman and HBO Max's Titans. In The Batman, which released in theaters earlier this year, Lycurgo plays an unnamed young man who serves as a reluctant member of a violent, face paint-wearing street gang. Meanwhile, the third season of Titans, which premiered on HBO Max last year, saw Lycurgo debut as Tim Drake, who DC fans will know as the third character to don the mantle of Robin. Lycurgo is expected to reprise his role as Tim Drake in Titans Season 4, which is currently in production.RELATED: Titans Season 4 Set Photos Offer a First Look at JinxRecently, a Twitter user made a post showing Lycurgo's two live-action DC characters side-by-side. In response, the actor quote-tweeted the post, simply writing, "Gotham changed me."

While Titans Season 3 premiered before The Batman did, Lycurgo actually filmed his part for the Robert Pattinson-led Batman movie before even being cast as Titans' Tim Drake. Lycurgo can be spotted in the original teaser trailer for The Batman, which dropped at DC FanDome in August 2020. In January 2021, it was announced that the actor had joined the cast of Titans (though he had started filming before his casting was announced).

Following Titans Season 3's premiere later in 2021, Lycurgo sat down for an interview with DC's official website, during which he was asked if his role in The Batman ever came up on the set of the HBO Max series. "No, nobody knew. It was like an unspoken thing," he said. "I did The Batman a year before I even got a tape for Titans. So, I did that and kind of got a little buzz on social media when the trailer came out. And then Titans came and for a while it was like, 'Do they know?' I don't even know if I actually ever said anything to our producer Greg Walker. I still don't even know if he knows. Greg, if you don't know already, I'm in Batman."

The Batman is in theaters and streaming on HBO Max now. Titans Season 4 does not currently have a premiere date, though the show's first three seasons are streaming on HBO Max as well.
